Intaglio in frame: elaborate frame with shell and rose motif on four openwork legs. Set with four green stones. Two openwork "arms" hold the salt in place.
Round amber intaglio salt with faceted sides pictures a boy carrying a stick walking his dog on a leash. Individual size salt: 3" dia. x 5/8" tall. The salt
has two chips outside the rim and some pinpoint flakes on the base. The frame has the tip of one foot missing and has most of the goldwash worn off. Rare.
